Madeira is expected to close this year with a new record of 349 cruise ship calls, while also preparing to surpass, for the first time, the 800,000 cruise passenger mark in a single year. The Port Authority of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM), in a statement, says that these two milestones are the "culmination of an extraordinary year" for the company overseen by the Regional Secretariat for Economy, which has seen the cruise industry grow for five consecutive years....
