Madeira revalidated the title of Best Insular Destination in Europe in World Travel Awards 2026
The prestigious award was revealed during the European Gala, held at the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort in Montenegro, solidifying our region as a leading reference point for European island tourism.
This award, previously won in 2013, 2014, 2016-2021, and 2023-2025, reflects the consistency, excellence, and unique charm that our islands continue to offer to visitors.
The Madeira Promotion Association expresses its deep gratitude to all partners, residents, and visitors who, through their votes and daily dedication, contribute to the success and international projection of the destination.
